About Lauzanac

LAUZANAC, THE HOUSES

Lauzanac is a small hamlet with 3 houses (2 self catering cottages and the owner’s house) and a farm situated in the middle of a hill and close to the river Dropt. We are at 3 km far from the medieval village of Eymet.

Each self catering cottage has an open outlook, an enclosed garden and a secured and private swimming-pool. Here is a plan to see the location of homes and swimming pools for Lauzanac.

LAUZANAC,THE FARM

Lauzanac is a small farm with about 60 ha. The main production is a breeding of Blondes d’Aquitaine, a meat breed, which graze peacefully on the meadows of the farm. A few plots are sown with cereals which are used to make flour to feed the herd. The rest of the food is given in the form of hay or haylage balls (hay wrapped before complete drying) which is made in the spring and distributed in the winter when the cattle are sheltered in a free stall.

The other 4-legged residents that you will see in the pens around the houses are pets. You can approach them at any time of the day, without passing the fences. You can give them your leftover food (but please, be careful, only carrots for donkeys and horses). Fun recycling for your kids 😉
